Ashley Wilburn, a native of Hagerstown, Maryland, proudly is a graduate of North Hagerstown High School, where she completed her secondary education. Ashley Wilburn's legal practice is centered around family law. She has a love for it. She focuses her practice on divorce cases, alimony matters, marital property division and child custody battles as well as child support arrangements. She also deals with the post-divorce and enforcement of issues as well as step-parent adoptions, private adoptions at parties as and concerns regarding child welfare. Ashley has served as a mediator appointed by the court since the year 2019 helping parties to help them resolve their matters without need for litigation and court involvement. Ashley mediates private cases as well as court-appointed mediations for people who want to stay clear of court processes and litigation.

Ashley completed her undergraduate studies in History and Politics at Loyola University of Maryland. She then pursued her legal education through Western New England University School of Law. She graduated in 2013 and was placed among the top 10 students of her class. Ashley was a Note Editor for the Western New England Law Review during her time in law school. This demonstrated her commitment to scholarship and legal research.

Ashley began her clerkship path after completing her law degree. She was employed by renowned jurists from Connecticut and Maryland. She had the pleasure of working as a law clerk for the Honorable Richard A. Robinson and the Honorable Elliott D. Prescott at the Connecticut Appellate Court. Subsequently, in 2014 she returned to her home town of Hagerstown to clerk for the Honorable M. Ashley joined Poole & Kane P.A. in 2015 as an associate attorney. as an associate attorney. Her main focus within the firm was to represent the Washington County Department of Social Services on cases that involved child welfare. Through her dedicated efforts, Ashley played a vital role in assisting children who were victims of neglect or abuse at by their parents or caregivers. Her dedication to social justice spanned beyond her legal practice since she was actively an officer of the Washington County Human Trafficking Task Force working tirelessly to increase awareness of human trafficking in the tri-state area.

In 2017, she became a founding member of Kane, Wilburn & Stone, P.A., where she developed her practice in the areas of family law - divorce child support, custody and guardianships - aswell for estate planning, such as wills, trusts and powers of attorney, advance directives/healthcare proxy and mediation.

Ashley established Wilburn Law Office, LLC, in 2023, with a commitment to providing a personalized approach to every client's needs.
